Christmas decorations are up!

Sammy came over and mummy, him and i did up the house.
it's nice and pretty now, even though it's only 75% done.

Tmr we're going shopping to get more streamers to continue, and then on saturday, chris and i are going to get up at 7.30 to do the snowflakes, efore going christmas shopping.

There's a gathering at my place on the 24th, and mummy and daddy are doing another one on the 25th!
i am excited :D:D:D

the holidays have been busy so far,
but they've also been incredibly fun :D

bintan was awesome, sand, sea, sun,
and beautiful picturesque beaches that stretch on for miles and miles.
my kind of holiday :)

not many pictures thoguh, because i'm seriously not fond of my new fringe. BANGS. EEEE


hahah. alright. tired, so tired that i slipped and fell in the bath tody and now have a nice bump on my ankle and shin. eeeeee

One thing i realized on the trip

i want to downsize

to whittle it down to the people who love me and whom i love

true, it isn't easy to find a true friend, someone who you can go through thick and thin with

but as we grow, we find out who we can trust and who we can't,
and who we can depend on, and who's a fair weather friend.


friends are not people who put you down all the time, neither are they people who push you out to the sharks

my friends are the ones who might see you making a mistake and warn you against it, but when you fall, they never ever go " i told you so", or " see? should have listened to me". neither do they laugh at you or take pleasure in your sorrow or periods of self doubt.

instead, they simply keep you company on your journey, and if you happen to fall, they pick you up, and you know they've always got your back.

my friends are happy when they see me happy
, and sad when they see me sad.

they send me numerous messages a day when something happens, and call up just to say hi.

that's the kind friend i want to be

and those are the kind of people my friends are.

those are the friends i'll keep

being family does not automatically grant you the title of "friend"
"friend" is a title you have to earn.


so with God's grace, i'll find out who my friends are, and keep the ones worth keeping.
if that means having less friends, fine by me.
better to have a close circle you know you can absolutely count on, then to live in fear and uncertainty.


you don't need many friends, just a few good ones.

today s packing and dvd day, and tuesday is hk day! yay!

haha. exams are finally finally over , and everything seemed pretty passable, ptl! :D

okay. packpack time, hungry, can't wait for lunch!
